Paint The Town Orange

Reading is commonplace in our commute. But for half of our population, the commute home can be dangerous. How can Penguin give women the opportunity to read on their journey home?

Penguin creates Orange Zones which provide high-quality, orange LED lighting across commuter transport routes. These zones are all equipped with a security camera and an emergency push button dialling directly to authorities in the case of an incident.

All Orange Zones are registered so that women can share their whereabouts with loved ones. When leaving an Orange Zone, Orange Zone Bookmarks are available which contain button activated lights and an alarm so that women can take their Orange Zones with them.
